How to brew a coffee enema - recipe

Safety Note: If you have digestive issues, haemorrhoids, or other medical conditions, consult a healthcare provider before trying.

Step 1

Use organic, ultra-light robusta roast coffee specifically intended for enemas.

Regular drinking coffee may contain oils or additives that are harsher on the colon.

Step 2

Always use distilled or filtered water and sterile equipment.

Ingredients & Equipment

  • 500–1,000 ml (2–4 cups) of filtered or distilled water
  • A stainless steel or glass pot for brewing
  • 2–3 tablespoons of organic enema coffee (light roast, preferably air-roasted)
  • A fine strainer (to remove grounds)
  • An enema bucket or bag kit with silicone tubing and nozzle (not plastic if possible)
  • Thermometer (optional but recommended)

Brewing Instructions

1) Boil the water.

2) Bring 500–1,000 ml (about 2–4 cups) of filtered/distilled water to a boil in your pot.

3) Add the coffee grounds.

4)Once boiling, reduce heat and add 2–3 tablespoons of organic enema coffee.

(Some people use 1 tablespoon per cup of water to start; you can adjust strength gradually.)

5) Simmer gently

6) Lower heat and let the coffee simmer uncovered for 10–15 minutes. This extracts the palmitic acids and caffeine (believed to stimulate bile flow and detox).

7) Cool & strain

8) Remove from heat. Allow to cool until the liquid is lukewarm — about body temperature (37–39°C / 98–102°F).

9) Strain through a fine mesh or cheesecloth into a clean container to remove all grounds.

10) Pour into enema bag or bucket

11) Transfer the cooled, strained coffee into your enema kit. Make sure tubing is clamped shut before filling.
